The original plan of this noble house dates back to the second half of 1600. Most probably it was one the winter residences of Count Cesi whom, with Galileo Galilei, started here in Acquasparta the famous Accademia dei Lincei. The original building has been then renovated around 1850 before being brought to its current shape and layout at the end of the 19th Century. During said renovation also the 800sqm. garden was designed with the criteria of the time: in fact, the plan of the garden is typical of the late 1800. All utilities are connected.
The overall area of the building exceeds 600sqm. and includes: an entrance atrium of about 40sqm. with 5mts. high vaulted ceilings; a first floor with the residential quarters with a number of living rooms and bedrooms, corridors and kitchen all with high ceilings; a mansard level currently not used, but which could very well be turned into appealing habitable spaces having a lot of light, high ceilings and wood beams. In addition to the above the building includes a very large underground cellar of 200sqm. with 5mts. ceilings, a balcony and a terrace. Structurally the building is in perfect conditions. Internally it requires renovation works during which a number of the existing materials can be reused if not kept, for example the old hand-painted wallpapers, the floor tiles and some of the doors. The roof needs checking.
