A unique estate consisting of land and buildings located in an area mainly devoted to agriculture and tourism with towns such as Città della Pieve and Cetona sitting on the hills facing the property. La Dogana

The biggest and most important building present is the old Dogana del Papa (Papal Customs) since this was the border between the Papal States and the Grand Duchy of Tuscany, who held the property. The three levels building is in perfect structural conditions although in need of renovation works. Made entirely of stone and brickwork the building is composed of large cellars in the basement and living area with fireplace, dining area, large kitchen with the old wood oven, a study, a bedroom with bathroom and a laundry room on the ground floor. From this floor via the courtyard it is possible to get to the close-by old saddlery. On the last floor of the Dogana the space is divided into five bedrooms and four bathrooms. The large spaces, the old materials and the setting contribute, together with the detached annexes, to make of this building a place with a very high potential. In the mentioned courtyard, there are two separate outbuildings, also made of stone masonry and brickwork both on a single level, once used as a woodshed and or as storage for tools and equipment and for agricultural products.

Il Casale

Not far from the Dogana there is an old farm building on two levels, once the home of the guardian of the small town of Salci. Made of stone masonry and bricks and “tufo”. The building is composed of two garages on the ground floor for tools and agricultural products, a warehouse, a kitchen/dining room, a living room and a small storage room in adherence to the main body with access from the outside, while the first floor consists of four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a hallway. In the courtyard independent annexes used in the past both as shelter for animals and for agricultural equipment. On the property there are an old stable just next to the Dogana, plus a former agricultural building with adjoining annex, and a large recently built stable for horses, the main passion of the former owner.

La Scuderia

A one floor building dated 1992 made entirely of masonry with plastered facades. A number of other smaller buildings complete the available “volumes” of the property.
