Property

The property is located in the middle of cultivated gentle hills in the vicinities of Perugia. It consists of approximately seventy hectares of land, mainly agricultural, and three independent casali in need of reconstruction works. The buildings all date back to the beginning of the 20th Century when big landowners started becoming agricultural entrepreneurs and needed houses for their farmers and spaces for their equipment. The views differ from side to side: a pretty mansion up on the hill on one side, a village from another, woodland and fields from the other two. Access is via a white road in good conditions. Electricity and water are in place and need just to be reconnected.

The three buildings are all structurally sound, although, as stated earlier, they require works. All three have two floors and one or two annexes each. Areas in square meters: Casale CM – ground floor 478, first floor 330, pig stay 83, annex 200, total 1,091; Casale C – ground floor 299, first floor 256, old stable 200, total 755; Casale M – ground floor 291, first floor 224, pig stay 114, two barns 168, total 797. Each casale internally has some of the typical features of this type of buildings: vaulted ceilings, large structural arches, cotto tile, etc.
