One of those places that has been part of the nice life on the Costiera some decades ago. The atmosphere is all there together with the great views. A one of a kind.
This villa was built in the fifties during the period of the unforgotten ‘dolce vita’ of the Amalfi Coast. It is a place quite difficult to photograph and in addition when Case in Italia viewed the property the sky was cloudy. In any case the beauty of the location is evident. It is positioned on a cliff on one of the edges of Positano with spectacular views of the sea and of the coastline. The property has seen many guests go by, from statesmen to actors, from writers to business men. It consists of a 480sqm. house surrounded by terraces and garden summing up to 1,500sqm. The gardens are very well kept, while the terraces require some maintenance works. On one edge of the property the owners have built a small swimming pool surrounded by lemon and orange trees and a vegetable garden with an open view of the sea. The place is completely fenced and the access, although via Ravello’s typical tiny roads full of steps, is not tiresome. All utilities are connected.
The three floors house needs some works. The 100sqm. lower level is currently unused and may easily turned into a separate guesthouse with its own entrance, or into additional bedrooms. Overall the house already has six bedrooms and four bathrooms. The middle floor has very large living and dining spaces with big windows guaranteeing light and views. The house has very interesting architectural solutions and the internal layout really works well.
